Chicago’s biggest fashion brand name with a huge price range

Akira is (arguably) Chicago’s most popular fashion brand, or at least the most visible. Its red awnings can be seen from blocks away, and if there’s a fashion show happening somewhere, chances are Akira has something to do with it.

So what’s the huge appeal? The price range suits everybody. You’ll find dresses here for $30 and $300 sitting next to each other on the racks. There are separate storefronts for men’s clothing, women’s clothing and shoes. (Shoe brands include Harajuku Lovers, Jessica Simpson, Sam Edelman, Frye, Michael Kors and Rocket Dog. Talk about variety!)
