El Barrio Chino

It’s only four blocks, but it will satisfy the craving for moon cakes and sesame chicken

Maybe I only love the Buenos Aires version of Chinatown because there is no other source of Chinese food in this city, but it’s something. Beware though, if you don’t speak Spanish well, it’s even harder to understand in a Chinese accent. Walk up the Arribeños 2000 block (away from the railroad tracks) until you see a little bakery shop on the left, with a deli counter and walls lined with packaged goodies. There you’ll find moon cakes, fried dough and other typical Chinatown fare.

Arribeños and Juramento.
