This gay bar has a split personality. The ground floor is aimed at entertaining private groups among modern furniture, like bulbous white leather sofas and colored glass lamps. The floor below, covered in murals and kitchy decor, is possibly the craziest party you will ever attend, if you hit a good night and stay long enough (until bar close). While some groups segment off to the side to hide in forests of modern couches and thumb through fashion magazines, others roam the floor chatting (or leaping, jumping, and rejoicing) with mojitos. But up or down, your cocktail is served by a waitress in drag.
As for the drinks, these are some of the most creative you’ll find in Buenos Aires, and the bartenders can execute. And the DJs are the icing on the cake. Dress code: grunge with a touch of neon. There’s nothing like it anywhere else in Buenos Aires—soak it up while you can!Guemes 4900 at Godoy Cruz, 54-11-4773-7521. Official blog >
