La Quebrada is the site of the World Cliff Diving Championships every year, but it’s also where a group of professional cliff divers perform year-round. Although you can see it during the day, I recommend going at night (don’t worry, you can still see the divers). The show involves divers performing solo or group gymnast-like jumps from jagged cliffs up to 45 meters in the air into the ocean below, a feat they have time just so with the currents. The show is one of Acapulco’s principal attractions, one that, like the beach, we revisit every time we return.
